Hi there. This is what I looked like from the time I was brought home to now. Goldendoodles go through many phases as they mature. Their "real coat" or more accurately their real hair does not come in until they are about 6 months of age. Rivers hair is much curlier now than when he was younger. We thought he might keep the wavy hair but that changed after his coat came in. He is now much curlier. It is therefore recommended to wait til they are 6 months for their first true haircut. Also notice the hair color change in river. His hair is much darker looking when it is longer. You will notice the same types of change in Sasha's hair
